Meet the Author: 
Mari Priscilla Hanson holds a degree in Political Science from Gonzaga University. In addition to being a published writer, she has worked in the vacation real estate industry in the United States, and internationally.  She is the mother of a beautiful and creative daughter named Brittany.  Mari has enjoyed expressing herself through writing since she was a very young child.

Meet the Illustrator:
Kathleen M. Hanson lives in Northern Arizona.  She enjoys traveling all over the world and is well known for her Caribbean themed paintings. She chose acrylic paint to illustrate this full color picture book, Sleepy Sun.
